Programs are designed to provide people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and their families and care partners with information on the disease as well as with valuable tools on how to cope with specific challenges faced during the disease process. “Preventing Caregiver Stress "
With Pam Keener, of Legal Services of Eastern Michigan

Helpful tips and valuable tools that will help participants define and understand stress, including how to identify caregiver burnout and how to prevent it. Techniques for reducing stress will be included.

“Partnering With Your Doctor "

Participants will learn how to best work with the doctor in order to ensure optimum care of the person with a memory loss disorder. Topics include effective communication with a doctor, preparation tips to maximize time spent with a doctor and how to utilize care, medication and appointment logs.
